‍ ‍Article 1 — Definitions‍ ‍

CosyNien: a sole proprietorship located at Joep Nicolasstraat, 309, 6041 JZ, Roermond, registered with the Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 99489929, VAT ID NL005391285B42.

Customer: any natural person who places an order for personal, non-business purposes.

Agreement: any order for a physical product via www.cosynien.com.

Products: tufted rugs, tufted wall art (including mirrors), tufted keychains, tufted coasters, and other handmade products as listed in the webshop.

Custom orders: products made specifically for the customer based on their requirements.

Workshops: a private 1-on-1 tufting workshop hosted by CosyNien at her home studio located at the business address. Workshops are booked via www.cosynien.com and are subject to separate booking conditions as described in Article 13.

Article 2 — Applicability

These Terms and Conditions apply to all offers and agreements between CosyNien and consumers purchasing via www.cosynien.com. By placing an order, the customer accepts these terms. These terms are available on the website and can be saved or downloaded as a PDF.

Article 3 — The Offer

All products are described as accurately as possible, including materials, dimensions, and care instructions. As all items are handmade, minor variations in shape, size, and texture are inherent to the craft and are not considered defects. Obvious errors in pricing or product descriptions are not binding. Most products are in stock unless stated otherwise. For custom orders, the estimated delivery time is 4-10 weeks, depending on complexity and materials.

Article 4 — The Agreement

For stock products, the agreement is concluded once payment is completed. For custom orders, the agreement is concluded once the order is confirmed by CosyNien and a deposit of 50% has been received. After this point, cancellation or returns are no longer possible, as the item is made specifically for the customer. The remaining 50% is due once the customer has approved the final result and the item is ready for shipment.

Article 5 — Prices and Payment

All prices are in euros, including VAT and excluding shipping costs. Shipping costs are clearly stated during checkout. Payment can be made via: iDEAL/WERO, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, and credit card. Orders are processed and shipped only after full payment has been received.

Article 6 — Delivery

CosyNien ships to all EU countries. Stock items: delivered within 7 business days after payment. Custom orders: delivered within 2 weeks after approval of the final result. In the event of a delay, the customer will be informed as soon as possible. The customer is responsible for providing correct and complete delivery information. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated.

Article 7 — Right of Withdrawal

The customer has the legal right to return stock products within 14 days of receipt, without giving a reason. To exercise this right, the customer must notify CosyNien via info@cosynien.com within this period. The following exceptions apply to these products, which cannot be returned: Custom-made items made to the customer's specifications. Products must be returned in their original, undamaged condition. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Upon receipt of the returned item, CosyNien will refund the purchase price and original shipping costs within 14 days.

Article 8 — Warranty

All products are covered by the legal EU warranty: products must perform as the customer could reasonably expect. This warranty covers manufacturing defects, incorrect delivery, or damage upon receipt. It does not cover normal wear and tear, mishandling, discolouration, or damage caused by external factors. As all items are handmade, minor natural variations are not covered under warranty.

Article 9 — Liability

CosyNien is liable only up to the purchase price of the product in the event of defects, incorrect delivery, or other direct damage. CosyNien is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Liability for force majeure situations — including illness, supply issues, or other circumstances beyond reasonable control — is excluded.

Article 10 — Complaints

Complaints can be submitted via info@cosynien.com. Please include your name, order number, a description of the issue, and photos where applicable. All complaints will be responded to within 14 working days of receipt.

Article 11 — Applicable Law

All agreements are governed by Dutch law. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in Roermond, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.

Article 12 — Amendments

CosyNien reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Amendments apply only to future orders and not to transactions already completed. The most current version is always available at [www.cosynien.com/generaltermsandconditions].

Article 13 — Workshop Bookings

13.1 General

CosyNien offers private 1-on-1 tufting workshops hosted at her home studio at Joep Nicolasstraat 309, 6041 JZ, Roermond, the Netherlands. Each session accommodates up to 2 people and focuses on a single rug design. Workshops are booked via www.cosynien.com or social media. After registration, you will receive a confirmation by email. Your participation is guaranteed once you have received this confirmation. Participants are responsible for complying with the workshop's agreements and conditions as mentioned in Article 13.

13.2 What is included

Each workshop includes:

• A 3-hour session with personal guidance at every step

• All materials needed to create one handmade rug of approximately 40 × 40 cm

• Use of an electric tufting gun

• Guidance on glueing, shaving, and finishing (including optional hanging ring)

• Drinks and snacks

13.3 Design

The customer may submit a personal design in advance or ask CosyNien to prepare a design. CosyNien will confirm whether the design is achievable within the session and will prepare the correct yarn colours accordingly.

13.4 Group setup

The customer may bring one additional person. Both participants may take turns working on the same design, or one person may tuft while the other watches and assists. The price covers one session and one rug, regardless of the number of participants.

13.5 Finishing

The completed rug will not be fully dry at the end of the session. The customer takes it home to cure for 24 hours.

13.6 Price and Payment

The workshop fee is €100 per session. A 50% deposit (€50) is required at the time of booking to confirm the reservation. The remaining 50% (€50) is due on the day of the workshop, payable via cash, iDEAL/WERO, or PayPal.

13.7 Cancellation and Rescheduling

Cancellations made 7 or more days before the workshop date: full deposit refunded. Cancellations made within 7 days of the workshop: the deposit is non-refundable, as materials will have been purchased in preparation. In the event of unforeseen circumstances within 24 hours of the workshop, CosyNien will work with the customer to schedule a new date. The deposit remains valid for the rescheduled session. If CosyNien needs to cancel or reschedule, the customer will be informed as soon as possible and offered a new date or a full refund.

13.8 Suitability

Workshops are suitable for complete beginners. No prior experience is required. Participants must be at least 18 years old. Participants aged 12 to 17 are welcome when accompanied by a parent or guardian.

13.9 Safety

Participation in the workshop is at your own risk. Cosynien is not liable for personal injury or damage to participants' property. We work with electric machines and will guide you in using them safely. Please wear clothing and footwear that can get dirty.
