‍ ‍Article 1 — Definitions‍ ‍

CosyNien: a sole proprietorship located at Joep Nicolasstraat, 309, 6041 JZ, Roermond, registered with the Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 99489929, VAT ID NL005391285B42.

Customer: any natural person who places an order for personal, non-business purposes.

Agreement: any order for a physical product via www.cosynien.com.

Products: tufted rugs, tufted wall art (including mirrors), tufted keychains, tufted coasters, and other handmade products as listed in the webshop.

Custom orders: products made specifically for the customer based on their requirements.

Workshops: a private 1-on-1 tufting workshop hosted by CosyNien at her home studio located at the business address. Workshops are booked via www.cosynien.com and are subject to separate booking conditions as described in Article 13.

Article 2 — Applicability

These Terms and Conditions apply to all offers and agreements between CosyNien and consumers purchasing via www.cosynien.com. By placing an order, the customer accepts these terms. These terms are available on the website and can be saved or downloaded as a PDF.

Article 3 — The Offer

All products are described as accurately as possible, including materials, dimensions, and care instructions. As all items are handmade, minor variations in shape, size, and texture are inherent to the craft and are not considered defects. Obvious errors in pricing or product descriptions are not binding. Most products are in stock unless stated otherwise. For custom orders, the estimated delivery time is 4-10 weeks, depending on complexity and materials.

Article 4 — The Agreement

For stock products, the agreement is concluded once payment is completed. For custom orders, the agreement is concluded once the order is confirmed by CosyNien and a deposit of 50% has been received. After this point, cancellation or returns are no longer possible, as the item is made specifically for the customer. The remaining 50% is due once the customer has approved the final result and the item is ready for shipment.

Article 5 — Prices and Payment

All prices are in euros, including VAT and excluding shipping costs. Shipping costs are clearly stated during checkout. Payment can be made via: iDEAL/WERO, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, and credit card. Orders are processed and shipped only after full payment has been received.

Article 6 — Delivery

CosyNien ships to all EU countries. Stock items: delivered within 7 business days after payment. Custom orders: delivered within 2 weeks after approval of the final result. In the event of a delay, the customer will be informed as soon as possible. The customer is responsible for providing correct and complete delivery information. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated.

Article 7 — Right of Withdrawal

The customer has the legal right to return stock products within 14 days of receipt, without giving a reason. To exercise this right, the customer must notify CosyNien via info@cosynien.com within this period. The following exceptions apply to these products, which cannot be returned: Custom-made items made to the customer's specifications. Products must be returned in their original, undamaged condition. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Upon receipt of the returned item, CosyNien will refund the purchase price and original shipping costs within 14 days.

Article 8 — Warranty

All products are covered by the legal EU warranty: products must perform as the customer could reasonably expect. This warranty covers manufacturing defects, incorrect delivery, or damage upon receipt. It does not cover normal wear and tear, mishandling, discolouration, or damage caused by external factors. As all items are handmade, minor natural variations are not covered under warranty.

Article 9 — Liability

CosyNien will perform its obligations with reasonable care and in accordance with applicable Dutch law.

For products, CosyNien is liable for direct damage caused by a demonstrable defect or error attributable to CosyNien, to the extent required by applicable law.

For workshops, CosyNien is responsible for providing reasonable guidance and for taking reasonable safety measures during the workshop. Participants are required to follow all safety instructions and reasonable directions given by CosyNien.

Participants use workshop equipment and materials, including an electric tufting gun, scissors and adhesives, under their own responsibility and in accordance with the instructions provided. Participants must immediately report any unsafe situation, accident, injury or damage to CosyNien.

CosyNien is not responsible for damage resulting from a participant's failure to follow safety instructions, misuse of equipment or materials, intentional or reckless conduct, or other circumstances attributable to the participant.

Participants are responsible for their personal belongings brought to the workshop. CosyNien recommends that participants do not bring valuable or fragile items unless necessary.

Tufting, glueing and finishing may cause dust, fibres, glue or other materials to come into contact with clothing or personal belongings. Participants are therefore advised to wear suitable clothing and footwear. CosyNien is not responsible for ordinary staining or damage to clothing or belongings resulting from the normal use of workshop materials or equipment, except where such damage is caused by circumstances for which CosyNien is legally responsible.

CosyNien is not liable for indirect or consequential damage to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits or excludes any liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded under applicable law.

Article 10 — Complaints

Complaints can be submitted via info@cosynien.com. Please include your name, order number, a description of the issue, and photos where applicable. All complaints will be responded to within 14 working days of receipt.

Article 11 — Applicable Law

All agreements are governed by Dutch law. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in Roermond, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.

Article 12 — Amendments

CosyNien reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Amendments apply only to future orders and not to transactions already completed. The most current version is always available at [www.cosynien.com/generaltermsandconditions].

Article 13 — Workshop Bookings

13.1 General

CosyNien offers both private and group tufting workshops at its workshop location in Roermond, the Netherlands.

A private workshop is a workshop reserved exclusively for the customer and any guests included in the booking.

A group workshop is a workshop in which multiple customers may participate individually in the same session. Participants in a group workshop may therefore be attending with people they do not personally know.

Workshop bookings can be made through www.cosynien.com or through other booking channels offered by CosyNien. After booking, the customer will receive a confirmation containing the relevant workshop date, time, location and price.

A workshop reservation is confirmed once CosyNien has confirmed the booking and any required payment or deposit has been received.

By booking a workshop, the customer agrees to these General Terms and Conditions and to follow the reasonable instructions given by CosyNien during the workshop.

13.2 What is included

Unless otherwise stated in the booking confirmation, a workshop includes:

• approximately 3 hours of tufting instruction and guidance;

• the materials required to create one handmade rug of approximately 40 × 40 cm;

• use of an electric tufting gun and other workshop equipment;

• guidance with glueing, shaving and finishing the rug;

• drinks and/or snacks where stated in the workshop description.

The workshop is intended for beginners and no previous tufting experience is required.

13.3 Design requirements

Each participant must submit a design before the workshop.

For group workshops, the design and preferred yarn colours must be sent to info@cosynien.com no later than 14 days before the workshop date.

For private workshops, the design and preferred yarn colours must be sent to info@cosynien.com no later than 7 days before the workshop date.

The customer may submit their own design or request that CosyNien prepare a design based on their ideas or inspiration.

Because designs and materials are prepared in advance, CosyNien cannot guarantee the availability of specific yarn colours or the preparation of a requested design if the required information is submitted after the applicable deadline.

CosyNien may advise the customer to simplify or adjust a design where necessary to make it reasonably achievable within the approximately 3-hour workshop.

CosyNien will use reasonable efforts to work with the customer's requested design and colours. However, the final result may contain minor variations due to the handmade nature of the process and the materials used.

13.4 Group setup

For private workshops, the number of participants is determined by the booking and workshop description.

For group workshops, customers may participate individually and share the workshop space and general instruction with other participants.

Each participant is entitled to create one rug unless otherwise stated in the workshop description or booking confirmation.

Workshop participants may not transfer their booking to another person without prior approval from CosyNien.

13.5 Materials and finishing

CosyNien uses 100% premium acrylic yarn during the workshop unless otherwise stated.

The customer understands that handmade tufted products may contain minor variations in shape, texture, yarn density and finish.

The rug may not be completely dry when the workshop ends. The customer takes the rug home and is responsible for allowing it to cure for approximately 24 hours before use.

CosyNien cannot guarantee that the final rug will be identical to the submitted design or reference image, as the result depends on the customer's technique, materials and the handmade nature of the process.

13.6 Safety and Participant Responsibilities

Participants must follow all safety instructions and reasonable directions given by CosyNien.

The tufting gun and other workshop equipment may only be used in accordance with the instructions provided by CosyNien.

Participants must not use workshop equipment in a manner that is unsafe, careless or inconsistent with the instructions provided.

CosyNien may stop or restrict a participant's use of equipment if CosyNien reasonably considers the participant's behaviour unsafe or likely to cause injury or damage.

Participants must inform CosyNien immediately if they are injured, feel unwell, notice a malfunction or identify an unsafe situation.

Participants are responsible for informing CosyNien before the workshop of any relevant physical limitation or circumstance that may reasonably affect their ability to participate safely.

13.7 Clothing and Personal Belongings

Tufting and finishing may produce dust, loose fibres and other materials. Glueing and finishing may also cause staining.

Participants should therefore wear comfortable clothing and footwear that may get dirty.

Participants are responsible for their own personal belongings during the workshop. Valuable or fragile items should not be brought unless necessary.

For further information regarding liability, participants should refer to Article 9 of these General Terms and Conditions.

13.8 Price and Payment

The applicable workshop price, deposit requirements and payment method are stated on the workshop booking page or in the booking confirmation.

Where a deposit is required, the booking is not confirmed until the required deposit has been received.

Any remaining balance must be paid by the deadline stated in the booking confirmation.

If the remaining balance is not paid on time, CosyNien may, where legally permitted, cancel the reservation after giving the customer reasonable notice.

13.9 Cancellation and Rescheduling by the Customer

The customer may cancel a workshop free of charge up to 14 days before the scheduled workshop date.

For cancellations made less than 14 days before the workshop, the amount already paid is non-refundable, unless otherwise required by applicable law or agreed by CosyNien.

If the customer is unexpectedly unable to attend within 24 hours before the workshop due to unforeseen circumstances, CosyNien may, at its discretion, offer the customer a new workshop date. Any rescheduling is subject to availability.

A customer who does not attend the workshop without prior notice is considered a no-show. No refund is provided for a no-show unless otherwise agreed by CosyNien or required by applicable law.

Where a participant in a group workshop cannot attend, this does not automatically cancel or reschedule the workshop for the other participants.

13.10 Cancellation or Rescheduling by CosyNien

CosyNien may cancel or reschedule a workshop due to illness, emergency, technical problems, safety concerns, insufficient availability of materials, or other circumstances beyond CosyNien's reasonable control.

If CosyNien cancels a workshop, the customer will be offered the choice of:

• rescheduling the workshop to a new available date; or

• receiving a refund of payments made for the cancelled workshop.

CosyNien will inform the customer as soon as reasonably possible.

13.11 Age and Suitability

Workshops are suitable for beginners.

Participants must be at least 18 years old, unless otherwise stated in the workshop description.

Participants aged 12 to 17 may participate when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, provided that the workshop format permits this.

CosyNien may refuse participation where there is a reasonable safety concern or where a participant is unable to follow the workshop's safety instructions.

13.12 Workshop Location

The workshop location is stated in the booking confirmation.

Unless otherwise agreed, workshops take place at CosyNien's workshop location in Roermond, the Netherlands.

Participants are responsible for arriving at the correct location at the agreed time.
